The Palmetto Pathways P3 Plan

The P³ Plan is a personalized roadmap that supports growth in three key areas: academic competency, career-readiness, and personal wellness. This plan is developed in collaboration with students, families, and advisors and is continuously monitored and adjusted to reflect each learner’s goals, progress, and needs. Through the P³ Plan, students take ownership of their learning journeys, build confidence in their paths, and develop the skills and support they need to succeed now and in the future.

Interest-Driven Projects

Learners complete projects that inspire deep meaningful learning, and what students learn is driven by the things they care about. Some projects help learners understand the important role they play in the real world right now by allowing them to solve real problems that are present in real workplaces or within their communities.

Career Learning

Because every learner will benefit from the interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required in a workplace, all PPA learners participate in career and work-based learning experiences that align to their future careers and that equip them with the experience they need to make informed decisions about their futures.

Proficiency-Based Progression

We meet learners where they are and support them in getting where they want to go. We do this by giving every learner the level and type of help they need to become proficient in their learning. We make sure learners who quickly demonstrate proficiency are able to move ahead or dive deeper into advanced studies and experiences.

Looping Advisory

Every student and their parent/guardian are paired with a dedicated advisor who works closely with them throughout their academic journey. In addition to providing personalized support, advisors also ensure students are connected to the resources and professionals necessary to meet their needs. Through their work with advisors, students receive the support needed to thrive in an environment that promotes autonomy and choice.

Course Offerings

We offer a diverse course catalog, including career and technical education, honors, advanced placement courses, etc. High school students may also have opportunities to take dual enrollment courses for high school credit with our college partners.
