Two Stops, One Mission: Community & Connection

We had an incredible time at the Orangeburg Back-to-School Bash! Thanks to the dedication and hard work of the team at Serve & Connect, the event brought families together for community connection, school supply giveaways, and important resources to help kick off the school year right. PPA enjoyed being a part of the action – connecting with families and giving out school supplies.

Catch us next at these upcoming community events:

PPA Gears Up for Back-to-School Bash!

Last week, the PPA team had a great time connecting with the community at the Be Safe event at Pinehurst Park in Columbia! This was our fourth community event this summer hosted by the incredible folks at Serve & Connect, and we’ve loved every moment of it – meeting families, sharing smiles, and supporting safer, stronger neighborhoods.

We’re not done yet! 🎒✨

Join us Tuesday, July 29 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Youth Canteen in Orangeburg, SC for the Serve & Connect Back to School Bash. We’ll be handing out school supplies to help students start the year off right. Come say hi and grab some essentials!

We look forward to seeing you there!

PPA Is Out in the Community — Come Meet Us at the Be Safe Block Party!

The Palmetto Pathways Academy planning team has been hitting the streets of Columbia, connecting with families at the Be Safe Community Block Parties organized by our friends at Serve and Connect – and we’ve loved every minute of it!

These neighborhood events are all about community, connection, and safety. They’ve given us the chance to introduce families to what makes PPA different: real-world learning, a learner-centered model, and a deep commitment to supporting all students.

📍 Next Stop: MLK Park – July 21

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be back out in the community on: Sunday, July 21 at MLK Park in Columbia. Come out and stop by the Palmetto Pathways Academy table to:

  • Meet members of our founding team
  • Learn more about our vision for the school
  • Get your questions answered in person
  • Have a chance to win a prize!

Whether you’re a parent, student, educator, or community partner, we’d love to meet you and share how PPA is reimagining education in South Carolina.
